This once-in-a-lifetime experience begins with our professional guides picking you up from your hotel and taking you to our private marina in Cancun, where your journey starts with a light breakfast.

From there, we'll set sail across the sparkling waters of the Mexican Caribbean, embarking on a one-hour journey to the Whale Shark gathering zone. Upon arrival, prepare for the awe-inspiring moment of swimming beside these gentle giants, some reaching up to 10 meters (35 feet) in length. With expert guides and marine staff by your side, this safe and thrilling encounter will create memories to last a lifetime.

After your swim, we'll head to the stunning Playa Norte on Isla Mujeres. Relax in its crystal-clear, shallow waters, enjoy a light lunch, and sip on refreshing drinks as you soak up the beauty of this tropical paradise. Finally, we'll return to the marina and take you back to your hotel, leaving you refreshed and exhilarated by this unique experience.

When: Daily at 9:00 AM. Exact meeting instructions will accompany your confirmation. This tour is seasonal and runs from June 1st to September 15th only.

Where: Pick-up from your Playa del Carmen hotel or meeting location. The exact pickup time depends on the location of your hotel and will be specified on your confirmation ticket.

Restrictions:

  • Refunds will not be provided in case the Whale Shark is not spotted (since the activity occurs in the open sea, sighting depends on the presence of the whale shark).
  • This tour is not suitable for pregnant women, people with heart or back problems, or those without basic swimming skills. People under the influence of alcohol or drugs are also prohibited from joining the tour. Infants can go on the boat, but we do not recommend this activity for them.
