Join us for an unparalleled cultural encounter with the native Mayas of Playa del Carmen, past and present! On this tour we will climb the great pyramid of Coba, visit Mayan villages, explore enchanted underground caverns, and experience traditional Mayan life. It is truly a fascinating excursion that will leave you really feeling how the Mayas once lived at the time of the great cities, and how they still live today. THIS TOUR IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE We will tour the Coba Mayan Ruins site, where we can climb the amazing Nohoch Muul pyramid, the tallest in the Yucatan Peninsula, where you will have stunning views of the jungle. We will visit a secluded Mayan family at Laguna Chabela who will share with you their ancient Mayan manners. Then we will visit the authentic Mayan village of Tres Reyes, where you can learn their ways in this natural reserve. We will also swim in an incredible Cenote and enjoy a real Mayan lunch with traditional food and hand-made tortillas.
