The only Chichen Itza tour that gets you there and back in only 9 hours!  The incredible wonder of the world, Chichen Itza, is about a 2.5 hour drive from Playa del Carmen, so most tours will take about 12 hours to complete.  The difference essentially is that this tour does not visit a cenote for swimming as most others do, and doesn't include a stop at a restaurant for a buffet lunch, and there are only 2 hours at the ruins site instead of 3 hours.  This tour is simple - go to Chichen Itza, see Chichen Itza, and return.

On your way to Chichen Itza, you'll enjoy a box breakfast to take the edge off.  Once at Chichen Itza, your expert archaeological guide will give you a fascinating tour of the ruins site, enveloping you in intrigue, mystery and the stunning culture and history of the Mayas.  You'll have free time to explore on your own and take photos, or to grab a bite to eat or drink at one of the local stands.  After your camera's data card is full of incredible shots, we'll head back to Playa del Carmen and have you there by about 4:00 PM.

OUR ADVICE:  
This is a good option if you don't care about seeing a cenote or having a sit-down lunch during the day, and would prefer to get home in plenty of time for dinner at your hotel.  For most people we recommend to do the full tour including the cenote, but this is an alternative depending on your interests.

Don't Forget:

Kids: All ages welcome. Kids prices apply to ages 5-11. Kids ages 3-4 must pay the Chichen Itza Entrance Fee of 481 Mexican Pesos (Approx. $25.00 USD) in cash on the day of the tour. The entrance fee is already included in the ticket for ages 5-11.

Cruise Passengers:  This tour is not compatible with most cruise schedules.  We suggest considering a tour to Tulum or Coba instead for your cruise excursion.
