Our most popular Chichen Itza tour, this classic tour  is the least expensive way to see the Mayan Ruins from Playa del Carmen. We'll travel in air-conditioned comfort from Playa del Carmen to Chichen Itza, stopping for a delicious buffet lunch. We'll also visit a cenote, where you can take photos or cool off with a swim.

Then it's off to Chichen Itza, where we'll meet our expert archaeological guide, and split into Spanish and English speaking groups so you can just hear the tour in your own language. Take a 90 minute guided tour of the ruins, a fascinating glimpse into the Mayan culture, then have 30 minutes to explore the ruins on your own, take photos, have a drink, or shop for souvenirs.

OUR ADVICE:

This is our most popular Chichen Itza tour, and for good reason.  It's probably the best value of any tour in Cozumel or the Riviera Maya. Make sure to eat breakfast before you go or bring snacks with you. It's a long drive, so some reading material or entertainment is a good idea too.

Don't Forget:

  • Biodegradable Sunblock
  • Hat
  • Camera
  • Guidebook
  • Money for Drinks, etc.
  • Drink Lots of Water
  • Swimsuit
  • Towel
  • Lifejackets if swimming are mandatory for $3.00 USD per person
  • Lockers are available at the cenote for $3.00 USD

Cruise Passengers:  This tour is not compatible with most cruise schedules.  We suggest considering a tour to Tulum or Coba instead for your cruise excursion.
